|Who is Vulnerable?|
|Vulnerability Description||A use-after-free vulnerability has been reported in Apple Safari. The vulnerability is due to an error in Apple Safari while handling the termination and subsequent referencing between child and parent windows. A remote attacker could trigger this vulnerability by enticing a vulnerable target to access a specially crafted HTML document. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.|

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
- In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Apple Safari Parent.Close Use After Free - Ver2 protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
- Install policy on all modules.
