    Most of Mozilla Firefox Versions from 13.0 and below, Most of Mozilla SeaMonkey Versions from 2.0.11 and below, Most of Mozilla Thunderbird Versions from 13.0 and below
    Vulnerability Description A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Mozilla Firefox, SeaMonkey and Thunderbird. The vulnerability is caused due to improper handling of XPI files. A remote attacker could exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a web page containing a specially crafted XPI file.

    Protection Overview

    This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.

    In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

    Security Gateway R77 / R76 / R75 / R71 / R70

    1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Mozilla Multiple Products WebIDL Remote Code Execution protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
    2. Install policy on all modules.
