Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in various System V based operating systems. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the affected system.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. On the IPS tab, click Protections, find the protection using the search tool and edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.

On SmartView Tracker:

  1. Click on IPS Blade > All.
  2. Filter the logs by the Protection name
