Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description A privilege escalation vulnerability has been reported in the OpenType Font (OTF) format driver. The vulnerability is due to an error in the OpenType Font (OTF) format driver that fails to properly index an array when parsing OpenType fonts. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability via a specially crafted OTF file. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to the affected system.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. On the IPS tab, click Protections, find the protection using the search tool and edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all modules.

On SmartView Tracker:

  1. Click on IPS Blade > All.
  2. Filter the logs by the Protection name
