|Vulnerability Description||A code execution vulnerability has been reported in Novell Client NetIdentity Agent. The vulnerability is due to insufficient sanity check when processing crafted RPC messages. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted RPC message to the affected service. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.|
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your product to the latest update. For information on how to update , go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
- On the IPS tab, click Protections, find the protection using the search tool and edit the protection's settings.
- Install policy on all modules.
