A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in the Microsoft Windows Server Message Block (SMB) client component. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted message to an affected system. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to take complete control of the target.
This protection will detect and block attempts to exploit this vulnerability.
