How to Install SmartDefense Updates

You can download and configure your SmartDefense Security Updates for your Check Point products through the Check Point SmartCenter management interface.

  1. In SmartDashboard, select the SmartDefense tab and click Online Update. All new available protections are loaded into the SmartDefense list of protections, visible on the left side of the SmartDefense tab.

  2. Configure the protections by selecting the desired defense from the SmartDefense list on the left side of the SmartDefense tab in SmartDashboard.

    For specific configuration details:

    1. Access the Check Point SmartDefense Website.
    2. Select the desired SmartDefense Update and view the instructions provided in the Protection tab.
