SunSoft and Check Point Sign Strategic Alliance

Provides Distribution and Technology Collboration on Network Security Products

SunSoft, Inc., a leading supplier of Internet-related software products, and Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a developer of award-winning network security technology, today announced that they have entered into a strategic alliance. Under the agreement SunSoft will sell and support Check Point's FireWall-1(R) Internet security products and the companies will collaborate on the development and marketing of future network security products. The relationship will allow both companies to better address the needs of organizations conncecting to the Internet.

FireWall-1 offers both external and internal network security allowing full connectivity to the Internet as well as compartmentalization of a private network. Unlike other solutions, it handles all Internet protocols and services and is completely transparent to end users. Further details of FireWall-1 from SunSoft were disclosed in a related announcement today at the Networld+Interop trade show.
