Earlier this week CERT issued an advisory warning of recent attacks using spoofing techniques. The advisory also noted that a number of firewall products may be vulnerable to these attacks.

While most FireWall-1 installations will be secure, we are providing a general and direct answer to the question that has been raised.

The flexibility of the FireWall-1 architecture has allowed us to develop a general solution to spoofing attacks in a short time, and in an easily distributed and installed form.
