Compuserve and Check Point Team Together to Provide Internet Security Solutions

CompuServe Inc. Network Services division announced the availability of FireWall-1 as a security option for its corporate Internet customers. Check Point FireWall-1 will be distributed by CompuServe, and available as for a monthly fee as part of a bundled service, or a one-time license fee.

Robert McKinney, CompuServe's manager of internetworking services said: "Check Point's FireWall-1 is a robust, yet transparent security system enabling system adminstrators to configure enterprise-wide security policies and manage network access flexibly using a point-and-click interface.
