Check Point Software Technologies Expands Presence In U.S. Federal Government Marketplace
Company Opens Federal Region Office to Support Security Needs of U.S. Federal Government Customers

Check Point Software Ltd., a leader in network security software, today announced that it has further expanded its North American organization with the formation of its U.S. federal region office in Alexandria, VA. The primary focus of the federal region office is to support the network security needs of U.S. federal agencies through sales, channel development, and customer support services.
The new office is headed by David Steinberg, federal region manager. Prior to joining Check Point, Steinberg was vice president of Bay Networks federal systems region, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and support for the U.S. federal government market.
