CHECK POINT SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES TO HOST PARTNER EXCHANGE IN MONTEREY

Numerous Industry Leaders Co-sponsor First-time Event

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Nov. 11, 1998 – Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKPF), the leading provider of solutions that enable Secure Enterprise Networking, today announced the company will host its Check Point Partner Exchange in Monterey, California, this week, November 11-13. More than 200 of Check Point's top reseller and OPSEC partners will gather for this first-ever three-day exchange of information and ideas with Check Point executives and representatives from several departments.

The Exchange is co-sponsored by some of the top industry leaders, including: Aliroo, Compaq, Content Technologies, Entrust Technologies, eSafe Technologies, Funk Software, Hewlett Packard, Nokia, Rainfinity, Security-7, Security Dynamics, Stonesoft Corporation, SurfWatch Software, Telemate Software, Trend Micro, UR Labs, Inc., Vasco Data Security, WebTrends, Worldtalk Corporation and Xylan. Conference highlights include executive presentation of the company's vision of Secure Enterprise Networking, as well as OPSEC's role in that vision. In addition Ted Julian, Network Strategies Analyst for Forrester Research, will keynote at the general session.

Beyond the general sessions, the conference consists of two concurrent tracks. The Business Track, for Check Point's resellers and OPSEC executive attendees, includes breakout sessions that range from revenue opportunities with key Check Point solutions to leveraging marketing and PR opportunities.

The Developer Track includes breakout sessions designed to assist developers from Check Point's industry partners in building solutions based on the company's Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity (OPSEC) Alliance. This industry initiative brings together top software and hardware vendors, as well as service providers to deliver open, best-of-breed, enterprise-wide security and networking solutions. Additionally, the Exchange includes an OPSEC Product Fair, which showcases industry leaders in hardware, enterprise security and networking solutions.
