Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Check Point's WTS offers a wide range of professional services, technical support and training, enabling Check Point to, for the first time, partner with customers in implementing secure, reliable business communications solutions today and in the future. Check Point's new team of customer care professionals brings extensive experience in providing unmatched service and support. These professionals, together with Check Point's service partners, will ensure customers receive the maximum return on their Check Point and OPSEC-certified (Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity) product investments. Professional Services, Technical Support and Education will cover Check Point's multiple product lines, including Enterprise Security Management (FireWall-1 and FireWall-1/VPN), Enterprise Traffic Management (FloodGate-1 and ConnectControl), and Enterprise Infrastructure Management (Open Security Manager, LDAP support, MetaInfo's Meta DNS and Meta IP). Check Point's professional services team will offer world-class consulting, implementation, management and trouble-shooting of policy-based enterprise security and traffic management solutions for Check Point and OPSEC-certified products. With its new CERF program Check Point Emergency Response Force Check Point will rapidly deploy experts to quickly respond to customers' major security issues or threats. For global organizations requiring assistance with deploying security and traffic control solutions to multiple locations, Check Point will provide complete project management. Customers also may now elect to receive technical support directly from Check Point or one of its resellers with three new programs specific to each customer's needs. Additionally, the company will offer OEM and partner training and customized courseware development through the "Check Point Education Center." Check Point will develop curriculum and continue to oversee partners' end user training through a worldwide network of Authorized Training Centers (ATCs). Professional Services Check Point made industry history when it announced and delivered the first single framework for enterprise security, OPSEC. Technical Support Check Point created its Technical Support program to meet the varying needs of its enterprise customers, regardless of size or network complexity. Offering the ultimate in flexibility, guaranteed technical support is available directly from Check Point at the Platinum level and from either Check Point or its partners at the Gold level. Customers may secure Incident Support from Check Point's partners only. Additionally, software maintenance must be purchased separately from a Check Point partner.
Check Point Education The Check Point Education Center in Dallas will provide customizable OEM and partner training either at the Center or on site. Graduates of this Certified Check Point Security Instructor (CCSI) program will then be able to certify end users as Check Point Security Administrators and Security Engineers through Check Point's Authorized Technical Centers, which number more than 60 locations worldwide. Program Timeline Check Point and its partners will begin offering North American customers these services and programs June 1, 1998, and will execute a phased roll-out to the rest of the world through this year and into 1999.
