Check Point Solutions Selected as Key Offerings Within Fujitsu's @SecureVision Security Strategy Tokyo, Japan and Redwood City, Calif. - April 7, 1999 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the leading provider of secure enterprise networking solutions, today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Fujitsu Limited, a leading global provider of information technology products and solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Fujitsu will distribute all Check Point solutions in Japan, including the company's award-winning Check Point FireWall-1 enterprise security solution, Check Point VPN-1 product family and Check Point FloodGate-1 enterprise-wide bandwidth management solution. Additionally, Fujitsu will become a member of Check Point Software's OPSEC (Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity) Alliance, the industry's foremost enterprise security initiative. Fujitsu will distribute Check Point Software solutions to its extensive base of resellers throughout Japan via its @SecureVision integrated security strategy. Through @SecureVision, Fujitsu offers best-of-breed security solutions that ensure safer, tamper-proof corporate information systems and enable secure electronic business communications over intranets, extranets and the Internet. The @SecureVision strategy features product offerings from several leading technology companies, including Fujitsu and Check Point Software, and provides solutions for remote access control, IP address management and integrated enterprise security. As a member of the OPSEC Alliance, Fujitsu will integrate Fujitsu proprietary systems such as PKI security and system management software with Check Point's offerings, including FireWall-1 and the VPN-1 product family.
