Commits to Key Sponsorships and Activities at NetWorld+Interop
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.
- May 10, 1999 - Check Point Software Technologies
Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in secure enterprise
networking, today announced the company's activities
and sponsorships at the industry's most significant trade
show and conference, NetWorld+Interop, held in Las Vegas,
Nevada from May 10-14, 1999. The company's participation
includes the following seven key activities:
- Official co-sponsorship
of network security for the InteropNet Event Network,
the world's largest short-term network, providing connectivity
to more than 600 NetWorld+Interop exhibitors, conference
rooms, meeting rooms and Novell Connecting Points. Check
Point FireWall-1, the industry-leading enterprise security
solution, will protect the N+I network using the most advanced
access control, network address translation, authentication
and content security available. Check Point Software's
Professional Services group will be onsite at the InteropNet
Network Operating Center to manage the show's network
security and facilitate any exhibitor requests related to
security.
- Participation in the
InteropNet Labs for VPN solutions, demonstrating the
highest levels of interoperability and usability of virtual
private networking technology and solutions. Check Point
Software's involvement in the InteropNet Labs includes
integration and demonstration of its market-leading VPN-1
family of solutions in various networking environments.
In addition, Check Point Software will be conducting additional
demonstrations and offering tutorials throughout the week.
- Sponsorship of VPN Day
on Monday, May 10, an intensive one-day session focusing
on the implementation and application of virtual private
networks. Check Point Software will also participate in
a panel session and demo station.
- Hosting of the OPSEC
Pavilion in the Check Point Software booth (8279),
over 20 OPSEC partners will participate in the booth, demonstrating
best of breed products and interoperability for solutions
built into Check Point Software's platform for secure
enterprise networking.
- Booth presence with a
presentation on "Secure Enterprise Networking"
held twice each hour. Check Point Software will be in booth
8279 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall.
- Speaking in program sessions.
Bradley Brown, Check Point Software's director of inbound
business development, will speak on the subject of "Gigabit
Firewalls" in session C18 on Wednesday, May 12 from
10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Sanjit Shah, senior product manager
from Check Point Software, will speak on "Directories
and Networks: Made for Each Other," in session C10
on Tuesday, May 11 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Finalist in the Network
Computing Well-Connected Awards ceremony on May 10.
Check Point FireWall-1 was chosen by Network Computing editors
after working at length to research and test the best products
in the networking arena, according to Fritz Nelson, editor-in-chief
of Network Computing.
