Industry-leading Check Point VPN and security software integrated on the Nokia Internet appliance to be distributed exclusively by Check Point REDWOOD CITY, Calif., October 19, 1999 Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP) and Nokia (NYSE: NOK), today announced an expanded relationship covering the development and distribution of the VPN-1 Appliance product family. Check Point Software's appliance line is being extended to include full-featured versions of the industry leading Nokia IP330, IP440 and IP650 available with Check Point VPN-1 and FireWall-1 software options. With the addition of these high performance, high availability Internet appliances, Check Point is uniquely qualified to meet the Internet security needs of all size organizations, including small to medium businesses, enterprise customers and managed service providers. Under the expanded relationship, VPN-1 Appliances will be exclusively available in North and South America from Check Point Software and its reseller partners. The new solutions include support for high availability and load sharing for VPNs and other mission critical security solutions, and form an integral component of Check Point's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) Architecture.
