NEW SECURE VIRTUAL NETWORK (SVN) ARCHITECTURE SHOWCASED AT NETWORLD+INTEROP TRADE SHOWS

Ground-Breaking SVN Products from Check Point Software(NASDAQ: CHKP) on Display in Paris and Atlanta

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – September 13, 1999 – Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) today announced that the company would for the first time publicly show its new Secure Virtual Network (SVN) solutions at NetWorld+Interop held in Atlanta, Georgia from September 13-16, 1999 (booth 906) and Paris, France from September 15-17, 1999 (booth K40, H40). Check Point Software announced its SVN architecture and new products on August 30, 1999.

"At N+I Atlanta and Paris, attendees will see our newly announced SVN products in action in our booth and at additional key locations around the shows."

Check Point Software's new SVN products include a major new version of the VPN-1 product family and three entirely new products: VPN-1 SecureClient, VPN-1 SecureServer and Reporting System. The new VPN-1 features bandwidth management (QoS), PKI interoperability and high availability. VPN-1 SecureClient and VPN-1 SecureServer provide true client/server Internet security and deliver personal firewall/VPN capabilities. The Reporting System enables integrated security audit, trend and accounting capabilities.

Check Point Software's SVN architecture incorporates all of the critical elements for a secure Internet environment. Unlike currently available VPNs, the SVN approach provides secure and seamless Internet connectivity between networks, systems, applications and users and ensures secure communications across the Internet, intranets and extranets.
