Check Point Leads With More Than 52 Percent of the VPN Market Share

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – July 25, 2000 – An independent study to be released today by Dataquest, a subsidiary of Gartner, confirms that Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASADAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, is the unequivocal VPN market leader with a market share of 52 percent. The report entitled, "IPSec VPNs Go Mainstream," represents the most comprehensive study available to date of the VPN market landscape.
