Check Point Announces VPN-1/FireWall-1 for New Nokia Appliance Platform Targeted at Enterprise Remote Offices

New Jointly Developed Check Point/Nokia VPN/Security Appliance  Expands Strategic Partnership

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 30, 2000 – Check Point Software Technologies (Nasdaq:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced it is expanding its partnership with Nokia to deliver comprehensive, integrated security appliances targeted at enterprise remote offices. Expanding the breadth of Check Point/Nokia security solutions, the new Nokia IP110 integrates Check Point's market-leading VPN-1™/FireWall-1 software with Nokia's IP Network Security platform. This new Nokia appliance extends the choice of "Secured by Check Point" appliances available as a part of Check Point's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture.
