Highlights include the ability to set global security policies, a significant increase in management scalability and several capabilities to simplify complex administrative tasks. With Provider-1 2000's new global policy feature, a security administrator creates one master policy that is then replicated across all customers automatically significantly reducing time and ensuring uniform security. The global policy feature eliminates the need to manually change each individual policy when implementing global changes. With increased management server density, Provider-1 2000 manages up to 200 customers on a single management server.
