Extends its Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture to deliver enterprise-class security on cost-effective partner appliance platforms REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 18, 2000 Check Point Software Technologies (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today unveiled VPN-1/FireWall-1 SmallOffice, a software solution that extends the company's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture to bring comprehensive Internet security to enterprise small remote offices and small businesses. Check Point is integrating VPN-1/FireWall-1 SmallOffice with high-performance, low-cost security appliances -- the first of which are also being announced today by Check Point partners Intrusion.com (Nasdaq: INTZ) and Ramp Networks (Nasdaq: RAMP).
