Check Point Software Honors Leading Companies with Excellence Awards

Fourth annual awards program recognizes innovative customer 
and partner Internet security implementations

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., - March 15, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, announced the winners of its annual Check Point Excellence Awards at the Check Point Experience held in Nashville, Tenn., March 12 - 14. The program recognized both customers and channel partners for successfully implementing the industry's most innovative Internet security solutions. This year's Check Point Excellence Award winners represent industry-leading companies in the hospitality, medical, retail, telecommunications and technology markets, who are leveraging Check Point and OPSEC solutions in ways that push the envelope and solve real business problems, such as remote access, bandwidth management and site-to-site connectivity.

The recipients of the 2001 Check Point Excellence Award winners include:

As part of the program, four Check Point channel partners were honored for their outstanding work with some of the winners of the Excellence Awards. The Partners include Accudata Systems, Exault, Telenisus and SynerComm. Check Point has more than 68,000 customers and 186,000 installations worldwide.
