Check Point Software's User & Technical Conference Breaks Attendance Records

Conference Highlights Next Generation Internet Security Solutions

PARIS, May 23, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that its Internet security user and technical conference, the Check Point Experience, has drawn record crowds, with nearly 1,300 attendees. The four day conference is currently being held in Paris, France.

The Check Point Experience provides customers and partners with in-depth technology and market information via presentations, technical and business-focused tracks, and product demonstrations. The conference features "real world" Internet security presentations from approximately 20 customers and partners, as well as keynotes from Richard Power, author of The Tangled Web; Chuck Jones, analyst at Salomon Smith Barney; and Check Point executives.

At the conference, Check Point unveiled its ground-breaking VPN infrastructure - a key element of Check Point Next Generation (please see today's other press release "VPNs to Become Mainstream with Check Point Next Generation VPN"). Check Point Next Generation, the next major new release of the company's market-leading Internet security software, is designed to meet future needs of customers by making security easy to use, manage and scale, while helping companies cut communications costs through the use of advanced virtual private network (VPN) capabilities. Check Point Next Generation is now in beta with customers and is scheduled to begin shipping this summer.
