FutureLink Canada Earns Check Point Premier Partner Status; Gains Certification As a Check Point Authorized Training Centre

FutureLink Recognized for Security and Training Expertise

TORONTO, Ontario - May 8, 2001- FutureLink Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of FutureLink Corp., (NASDAQ NM: FTRL) a leading provider of integrated solutions, hosted application services and one of the first application infrastructure companies to provide software as a service, has been awarded Premier Value Added Solution Provider status from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP). Check Point has also named FutureLink Canada a Check Point Authorized Training Centre. FutureLink is only the third company in Canada to receive both distinctions.

In order to become a Check Point Authorized Training Centre, FutureLink was required to meet strict guidelines including the qualification of training staff and the configuration of training facilities.
