KDDI Chooses Check Point Software  For Managed Internet Security Solutions

Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - July 17, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced KDDI, one of Japan's leading providers of telecommunications services, will incorporate Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1® and Provider-1® into its new managed security service called, "KDDI Firewall Operation and Management Service."
