Korean Internet Providers Association Selects Check Point/Nokia SmallOffice Appliance

SEOUL, KOREA, August 28, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that the Korea High-speed Internet Providers Association (KHIPA), a key high-end Internet network and security solutions provider, has chosen Check Point's VPN-1®/FireWall-1® SmallOffice running on the trusted Nokia IP51 security appliance, to provide secure connectivity for its expansive customer base. KHIPA will deliver enterprise-class security to small remote offices, telecommuters or a variety of WAN connections.
