LAS
VEGAS, NV, May 10, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies
Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) and Internet Security Systems (ISS) (NASDAQ:
ISSX), two Internet security leaders, today announced that
they have been selected for the fourth consecutive year as
network security co-sponsors of the Interop Net Event Network
(eNet) at NetWorld+Interop in Las Vegas. Check Point
and ISS have provided integrated Internet security technology,

The eNet is the world's largest short-term network, providing
connectivity to more than 800 NetWorld+Interop exhibitors,
conference rooms and meeting rooms while serving approximately
60,000 attendees. Check Point and ISS security experts provided

exhibitor requests related to security. In addition, ISS experts
are remotely monitoring the security of the eNet around-the-clock
utilizing its leading managed security services from the ISS

said Asheem Chandna, vice president of business development

"ISS and
Check Point products, deployed together at the eNet represent
a real-world demonstration of the 'best-of-breed' approach
to Internet security."
Tim McCormick, vice president of corporate marketing at ISS
said, "In addition to providing our leading best-of-breed
products from Check Point and ISS, we are delivering an additional
function for protecting the eNet this year by remotely monitoring
the network from our new, state-of-the-art operations center
located at ISS headquarters in Atlanta. This demonstrates
the clear real-world value and peace of mind that comes with
placing security into the hands of experts to ensure that
the network is continually monitored, managed and protected."
The eNet and iLabs have been protected by Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1®
solution, the industry-leading integrated security solution.
Part of the company's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture,
the VPN-1/FireWall-1 solution incorporates advanced virtual
private networking and firewall capabilities, core components
of an overall enterprise security. ISS' market-leading security
management software and managed security service solutions
protect the eNet through around-the-clock monitoring, vulnerability,
