Design and Scale REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 11, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced a new partnering initiative to provide companies with tools and services that validate and assess the load capacity of their business-critical VPN deployments. The new OPSEC® (Open Platform for Security) VPN Capacity Planning Initiative enables leading eBusiness capacity planning and load testing tool vendors to confidently deliver solutions that are compatible with Check Point's industry-leading VPN-1/ FireWall-1® software. Offered for the first time, these new tools will allow companies to easily and effectively scale their eBusiness infrastructure. Initial partners who have joined the OPSEC VPN Capacity Planning Initiative include: ANTARA.net, Envive, FiveNine Solutions, Holistix, Mercury Interactive (Nasdaq: MERQ), Precise Software (Nasdaq: PRSE) and Quest Software (Nasdaq: QSFT).
