|
Partners with Leading Platform Vendors to Deliver Multi-Gigabit, Multi-Customer Solutions with Multiple Security Systems in a Single Hardware Platform REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 5, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced new Subscriber VPN/security solutions, making Check Point the only company in the industry to provide managed security solutions to telcos and ISPs for all deployment scenarios. The new solution empowers multiple Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1® gateways to run at multi-gigabit speeds within a single hardware platform for significantly lower operating costs. Initially, Check Point is partnering with three best-of-breed platform vendors to deliver "Secured by Check Point" solutions that integrate its security for high performance subscriber deployments: CoSine Communications (Nasdaq:COSN), Crossbeam Systems and Cubix Corporation (please see corresponding press releases from some of these companies). Subscriber VPN/security provides multiple security deployments for many "subscribers" - companies receiving Internet security as a managed service. "Secured by Check Point" Subscriber VPN/security systems will provide up to hundreds of VPN-1/FireWall-1 gateways on a single hardware platform. The service provider manages and monitors this security deployment from its Network Operation Center (NOC) using Check Point's powerful Provider-1® management architecture. Service providers can further standardize on Check Point's SVN architecture and deliver both customer premise equipment-based (CPE) and subscriber (POP or data center-based) VPN/security managed services. The Subscriber VPN/security delivery model enables service providers to offer a range of cost-effective managed security solutions to their customers. "Service
