Telecom Italia Offers Managed VPN Services Based on Check Point Software Technologies
Leading Italian Telecommunications Provider Extends Deployment of Check Point Provider-1 and VPN-1 to Support its "Full Business Security" Managed Service Offering
RAMAT GAN, ISRAEL - October 2, 2001 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced Telecom Italia's Wireless Data.com division will extend its "Full Business Security" managed service offering to include managed VPN services based on Check Point's award-winning Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture solutions, including Check Point Provider-1 and VPN-1/FireWall-1. The new service builds upon Telecom Italia's existing Internet security services, announced in March 2000, based on Check Point's FireWall-1.
