Check Point Software Simplifies Security Software Management with Launch of New User Center

Enables Customers to Easily and Centrally Manage Software Licensing

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., - August 1, 2001 -- Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced its User Center, a new web-based business portal that provides partners and users with an efficient single source for enterprise licensing of Check Point products, software subscriptions and support programs.

The User Center provides an easy and intuitive licensing process that greatly reduces administration overhead and saves time. It provides automated software upgrading processes for software licenses as well as subscription services and support contracts. As part of the company's commitment to delivering Next Generation Internet security, the new User Center provides the tools for efficient management and tracking of all Check Point products in a customer's network.

The new Check Point User Center's enhanced functionality includes:

  • Customized pages with content-rich information for account management

  • Comprehensive transaction log files provide simplified audit trails
