Check Point Software Honors Leading Companies with Excellence Awards

Fifth annual awards program recognizes innovative customer and partner Internet security implementations

Check Point Experience - ANAHEIM, Calif., - April 25, 2002 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced the winners of its fifth annual Check Point Excellence Awards at the Check Point Experience conference currently being held at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. The Check Point Experience provides customers and partners with valuable technology and market information via presentations, technical and business-focused tracks and product demonstrations from Check Point and its partners.

The Check Point Excellence Awards recognize customers and channel partners for successfully implementing the industry's most innovative Internet security solutions. This year's winners represent industry-leading companies who are leveraging Check Point and its OPSEC™ (Open Platform for Security) partner solutions to solve business problems, such as securing remote offices and employees and managing critical bandwidth.

The recipients of the 2002 Check Point Excellence Award winners include:

Triton PCS for Cutting Edge Security Practices
Triton PCS, a leader in the digital wireless network industry, provides superior security services to more than 13 million customers using Check Point's VPN-1®/FireWall-1® Next Generation™ and Provider-1™ technologies. The security solutions have reduced administration efforts by 40 percent. They were assisted with this implementation by Dimension Data located in New Jersey.

The Regence Group and Canaccord Capital Corporation for Extensive VPN Capabilities
The Regence Group, a large health care insurer, with the help of Deloitte & Touche and VeriSign, replaced their legacy infrastructure with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 Next Generation to meet Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines and give more than 1000 users secure remote access using Check Point's VPN-1 SecureClient.

Canaccord, Canada's largest independent investment firm, has successfully provided a reliable and affordable solution to secure branch office communications using Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1. VPN-1/FireWall-1 allowed Canaccord to use VPNs as an alternative solution for specifically designed redundancy ATM network service.

Centro Nacional de Control de Energia (CENACE) for Outstanding OPSEC Architecture Implementation
CENACE, one of Mexico's largest federal agencies, enhanced its existing VPN-1/FireWall-1 solution with six OPSEC products from Oracle, Trend Micro, Websense, RSA, Real Secure and Stonesoft. The solution ensures optimal network performance and the highest level of protection of CENACE's critical information systems, partner extranet and corporate intranet. This installation was achieved with help from value added solution provider, Onlinet in Mexico.

Slim-Fast Foods Company for Exemplary Broad Use of Check Point Products
Slim-Fast Foods Company, a leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of healthy shakes and bars, with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1, Meta IP™, FloodGate-1™ and UserAuthority™ products, was able to completely redesign their security network from the ground up. The redesign allowed them instant reporting, centralized management and remote access. This was possible with help from their value added reseller Mission Critical Systems, located in Florida.
