Check Point Software Expands Esteemed Certification Program

New CCMSE Certification Addresses Managed Security Services

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Aug. 7, 2002 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced it has expanded its highly regarded Check Point Certified Professional program to include a specialization in managed security services. The new Check Point Certified Managed Service Expert (CCMSE) certification provides advanced certification on Check Point Provider-1™ and Check Point VPN-1®/FireWall-1® implementations.

CCMSE Certification Overview Check Point's CCMSE certification is an advanced certification for security professionals implementing Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 and Provider-1 Internet security solutions. CCMSE's build on the industry recognized Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) and Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certifications, ensuring a thorough understanding of how Check Point's security solutions work together from enforcement points to multi-site management.
