Represent Evolution of Technology

October 28, 2002 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:CHKP),
the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that
its market-leading Internet security solution, Check Point VPN-1®/FireWall-1®,
was presented to the Computer History Museum during a recent visit
to the museum by Check Point's executive management team. Located
in Mountain View, California, the Museum preserves and presents
authentic artifacts and stories of the worldwide computing revolution
and its impact on society. The museum is home to the world's largest
collection of computing-related items - including hardware, software,
photos, films, videos and documents. Notable artifacts in the collection
include such revolutionary technological innovations as a WWII ENIGMA
device, the Apollo Guidance Computer and the Cray-1A.
The world's first commercially available firewall product, Check Point's FireWall-1 defined Internet security, protecting against security vulnerabilities in the fast-growing Internet environment. Soon after came VPN-1, ensuring secure Internet communications, followed by a multitude of other innovative Internet security and communications products, enabling the company to attain its current market-leading status.
