Acton, MA - April 3, 2002 - CONSUL risk management, a leading worldwide IT security software provider specializing in audit and administration tools for enterprise-wide security management, today announced that it has joined Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP) Open Platform for Security (OPSEC) Alliance. As a partner in this program, CONSUL will work with Check Point to fully integrate CONSUL's real-time security auditing solutions with Check Point's market-leading VPN-1®/FireWall-1® solutions. As a result, joint customers will benefit from having their firewall and VPN gateway monitored by an automated auditing system that is optimized for those devices and fully understands their operation.
