Legal Software Company Reaches Verdict Using Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 SmallOffice
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Dec. 23, 2002 Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that the leading provider of electronic discovery services for the legal industry, Applied Discovery Inc., has selected Check Point's market-leading security solutions to provide virtual private network (VPN) connections for its remote offices and employees.
As a pioneer in developing software-based tools for legal professionals, Applied Discovery required a proven security solution that would allow administrators to quickly deploy and manage remote office connections and protect critical network resources. They found their solution in Check Point's market-leading security suite, including: VPN-1® Pro, VPN-1®/FireWall-1® SmallOffice and VPN-1® SecureClient.

To complement this solution, Applied Discovery will also deploy Check Point's VPN-1 SecureClient, which integrates a personal firewall with secure remote access and centralized management capabilities to empower mobile workers to securely connect to sensitive information inside the network.
