Position as Security Technology Partner of Choice
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.
and MUNICH, Germany - Nov. 27, 2002 - Check Point Software
Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing
the Internet, today announced an expanded global partnership with
Siemens Business Services, a division of Siemens AG (NYSE:SI). Under
the terms of the agreement, Siemens will standardize its security
appliance offering on Check Point to deliver Check Point's market-leading
VPN-1®/FireWall-1® across Siemens "4 Your Safety"
appliance portfolio. The integrated security appliances and full
range of Check Point Internet security solutions will be brought
to market through a worldwide reseller agreement that includes cooperative
sales efforts, deployment expertise and technical support, enabling
a more streamlined purchasing process for customers around the world.
The announcement underscores Check Point's leadership and expanding
reach as more companies are selecting Check Point Internet security
technology for their platforms and customers.
Streamlined Distribution
Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 will become the lead security application
in Siemens' 4 Your Safety appliance solution, a Linux-based enterprise-class
VPN/security appliance integrating VPN-1/FireWall-1 with the Fujitsu-Siemens
Primergy hardware platform.
Siemen Business Services direct sales force, security practice consultants
and worldwide channels network will offer customers Check Point

In addition, Siemens will become a Certified Support
Partner (CSP), a mark of distinction that gives partners a competitive
advantage in offering support on Check Point products. As a CSP,
Siemens will be able to provide the highest level of technical support
for their customers. The CSP program distinguishes partners for
the service they provide and ensures that customers consistently
receive the highest level of technical support from certified Check
Point resellers and systems integrators, enabling them to maximize
their investment in Check Point solutions.
Security Technology
Partner of Choice
The announcement demonstrates Check Point's leadership position
as the industry's security technology partner of choice. Siemens
joins a growing list of leading vendors, including HP, IBM, Nokia
and Sun Microsystems that have chosen to standardize their Internet
security appliance offering on Check Point Software. The "Secured
by Check Point" Appliance program is part of Check Point's
Open Platform for Security (OPSEC) partner alliance program.
"We are pleased to standardize our 4 Your
Safety appliance offering on Check Point, the industry leader, as
it enables us to expand our position as a leading end-to-end solutions

said Neil Allpress, senior vice president and managing director,
