Check Point Expands Global Partnership With Siemens

Siemens Standardizes "4 Your Safety" Offering on Check Point; Underscores Check Point's Position as Security Technology Partner of Choice

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. and MUNICH, Germany - Nov. 27, 2002 - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced an expanded global partnership with Siemens Business Services, a division of Siemens AG (NYSE:SI). Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens will standardize its security appliance offering on Check Point to deliver Check Point's market-leading VPN-1®/FireWall-1® across Siemens "4 Your Safety" appliance portfolio. The integrated security appliances and full range of Check Point Internet security solutions will be brought to market through a worldwide reseller agreement that includes cooperative sales efforts, deployment expertise and technical support, enabling a more streamlined purchasing process for customers around the world. The announcement underscores Check Point's leadership and expanding reach as more companies are selecting Check Point Internet security technology for their platforms and customers.

Streamlined Distribution
Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 will become the lead security application in Siemens' 4 Your Safety appliance solution, a Linux-based enterprise-class VPN/security appliance integrating VPN-1/FireWall-1 with the Fujitsu-Siemens Primergy hardware platform.
Siemen Business Services direct sales force, security practice consultants and worldwide channels network will offer customers Check Point security management solution for enterprise and service providers along with comprehensive 24 x 7 technical support of the full Check Point line of products. The expanded agreement will enable mutual customers to benefit from a more unified approach to security solutions, as well as world class Siemens Business Services consultancy services and customer training.

In addition, Siemens will become a Certified Support Partner (CSP), a mark of distinction that gives partners a competitive advantage in offering support on Check Point products. As a CSP, Siemens will be able to provide the highest level of technical support for their customers. The CSP program distinguishes partners for the service they provide and ensures that customers consistently receive the highest level of technical support from certified Check Point resellers and systems integrators, enabling them to maximize their investment in Check Point solutions.

Security Technology Partner of Choice
The announcement demonstrates Check Point's leadership position as the industry's security technology partner of choice. Siemens joins a growing list of leading vendors, including HP, IBM, Nokia and Sun Microsystems that have chosen to standardize their Internet security appliance offering on Check Point Software. The "Secured by Check Point" Appliance program is part of Check Point's Open Platform for Security (OPSEC™) partner alliance program.
