Check Point Valued Partner Program Achieves Prestigious Five-Star Rating from CMP's VARBusiness Magazine
Channel Partner Program Lauded for Deep Commitment to Channel and True Innovation in Partnering
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., - March 21, 2005 - Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that Check Point was recognized by CMP Media's VARBusiness Magazine as one of North America's top information-technology (IT) vendors in terms of the breadth and depth of channel partner programs. Check Point's Valued Partner Program achieved VARBusiness' prestigious Five-Star Rating, acknowledging the robust features of its programs for IT integrators, resellers and consultants.
IT vendors were invited to submit descriptions of their channel partner programs between November 2004 and January 2005. The VARBusiness research department tabulated the results based on key metrics including the vendor's channel investment, its velocity of sales through partners and its most innovative programs. Check Point's achievement appears in the 11th annual Partner Programs Guide in the March 21, 2005 issue of VARBusiness.
"Each year, more than 572,000 of our readers look to our Partner Programs Guide to make educated decisions about which IT vendors they should work with to maximize business growth," said Robert C. DeMarzo, publisher of VARBusiness. "We applaud vendors like Check Point for their overall channel commitment and channel innovation."
"With 100 percent of our sales driven through the channel, we are always looking for new ways to enable our channel partners and distributors to become more successful in reaching new and existing customers," said Kevin Maloney, vice president, worldwide sales for Check Point Software Technologies. "The Five-Star Rating from VARBusiness further demonstrates the success of our Valued Partner Program, and we will continue to develop innovative solutions that exceed customer demands, thus making the sales process simpler and more profitable for our partners."
