Research Study Concludes that Check Point Delivers Highest Levels of Satisfaction to Solution Providers

Redwood City, Calif. - Aug. 24, 2005 - Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that its Valued Partner Program has been recognized by solution-provider readers of CMP Media's VARBusiness for achieving exceptional partner satisfaction levels in the 2005 "Annual Report Card" (ARC) award program. The company received the Partnership award in the Security Management Software category for the overall success of its channel program, ease of doing business with partners, successful management of channel conflict, and ability to provide solution providers with outstanding revenue and profit potential. Check Point was presented with the award at a ceremony held on Aug. 23, at the CMP XChange '05 Conference in Orlando, Fla.

Now in its 20th year, the VARBusiness ARC Awards recognize outstanding partner programs in 19 product and service categories. Winners were selected based on the survey results of more than 5,000 systems integrators, IT consulting organizations, value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers and software developers.

"The VARBusiness ‘Annual Report Card' is the industry standard for measuring partner program excellence," says Publisher Robert C. DeMarzo. "It is a meaningful benchmark because the winning companies are selected by their solution providers."

"Check Point's sales are done entirely through the channel, and it is very important to us to consistently deliver the highest levels of satisfaction to our partners," said Kevin Maloney, vice president of worldwide sales for Check Point Software Technologies. "This recognition from VARBusiness is a great achievement, and it further validates our outstanding ability to work together with our partners to contribute to the success of their businesses."
