Check Point Software and RSA Security Partner to Deliver Joint Software-Based Appliance

Companies Integrate Best-of-Breed Remote Access and Two-Factor Authentication Solutions to Protect Integrity and Confidentiality of Information

Check Point®Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the world leader in securing the Internet, and RSA Security Inc. today announced an extended partnership to deliver one of the industry's strongest platforms for remote access protected by strong authentication. The companies will integrate best-of-breed security solutions to help joint customers manage and protect trusted end-users identities to simplify remote access deployments and enable cost savings. The partners will display the solution at the RSA Security Booth # 523 at the RSA Conference 2006 in San Jose, California.

The two companies will integrate RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication technology with Check Point's market-leading security gateways, the VPN-1® Express product family and Check Point Connectra™. Together, this identity and access management system connects and authenticates remote users to help protect the integrity and confidentiality of information, and reduces administration time and costs in a single platform deployment.

Best-of-Breed Solutions
The two companies will integrate RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication technology with Check Point Express CI™, an integrated security gateway that combines firewall, VPN, intrusion prevention, antivirus, and centralized management in a single solution. In addition, RSA SecurID technology will also be integrated with Check Point Connectra™ NGX™, a complete Web Security Gateway that provides SSL VPN access and integrated endpoint and application security. The market-leading VPN capabilities of Connectra and Express CI will enable remote users to access information while protecting against eavesdropping and data tampering. To complement this, RSA SecurID technology is used to authenticate users to the network.

Availability
The RSA SecurID two-factor authentication solution for Check Point Express CI will be available in Q2 2006 through both RSA Security and Check Point's authorized solution partners. Integration with Connectra is expected to come later in 2006. Check Point and RSA Security are demonstrating the integrated solutions at the RSA Security booth at the RSA Conference and Exhibition 2006 in San Jose, California (February 14 - 17; booth # 523).
