Kirkland, WA —

Integralis, Inc., makers of MIMEsweeper e-mail anti-virus and content management software, today announced that it has completed testing of Check Point Software Technologies' FireWall-1 in conjunction with MIMEsweeper and determined that both products can be installed on and run from the same Windows NT server. These two complementary security applications control Internet and Intranet access and the type of information which can be transmitted into or out of a company. The significance lies in simplification of configuration and support, ultimately lowering the cost of a secure Internet connection.

"Combining these products, the industry leading firewall solution for Internet access control, and the leading message content management product, MIMEsweeper, on a single NT Server creates the ultimate Internet security solution," said Victor Woodward, President of Integralis, Inc. "We're proud to make Check Point the first of several partners in this effort."

"MIMEsweeper's e-mail content security and virus scanning capabilities seamlessly integrate within the multi-layer security architecture of FireWall-1. We see e-mail content security as a key concern that is growing in importance for many of our enterprise customers," stated Dr. Deborah Triant, CEO and President of Check Point Software Technologies, Inc. "We are pleased to be working with Integralis to allow our mutual customers to deploy MIMEsweeper in tandem with FireWall-1 and communicate via electronic mail securely."

About MIMEsweeper
MIMEsweeper v2.3 is an NT application designed to detect viruses in e-mail and attachments, protect confidential information, help control junk mail and chain letters, limit the size of mail attachments being received, and allow for communications archiving between selected users to meet legal requirements. It automatically looks at all in-bound and out-bound e-mail, disassembling them and their attachments into basic components, and then invokes content managers such as a virus scanner to verify that no viruses or confidential data have been included in the transmission. MIMEsweeper v2.3 began shipping in August, 1996, and is priced at $995 for a 25-user license and $7,000 for a 1000-user license.
