AbirNet Completes Round of Investment

Company Eyes Intranet Protection Market

SPRING INTERNET WORLD, Los Angeles, CA (March 11, 1997) – AbirNet Ltd., a new entry into the Intranet network protection market, today announced the completion of an investment from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., Walden International Investment Group, Gemini, Forval Creative, Inc., and Blumberg Capital. AbirNet's products include several new network protection technologies including "see-it-all monitoring" , "unobtrusive blocking" and a sophisticated network intrusion detection engine. These innovations ensure new levels of freedom and access control for Internet access and internal (Intranet) networks.
