Starlight Networks Joins Check Point Software's New OPSEC Alliance

Alliance to Take Lead in Developing Interoperable,Enterprise Security Solutions; Incorporates Starlight's Standards-Based Video Delivery Software

Mountain View, Calif. -- April 21, 1997 -- Starlight Networks, the leading provider of video networking software for the intranet, today announced it has joined Check Point Software Technologies' Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity (OPSEC) Alliance as a Passport Partner. The OPSEC Alliance was formed to bring together industry leaders to create a standards-based security solution for today's Internet and intranet computing environments. As an Alliance partner, Starlight will promote the compatibility of its advanced videonetworking solutions with Check Point's integrated OPSEC platform to ensure secure computing over the intranet.
