SecureIT Implements Check Point OPSEC API in its SecureVIEW Log File Analysis and Reporting Tool

Atlanta, GA, - January 6, 1998 – SecureIT, Inc., a leading Internet security services and product provider and an early partner in Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.'s OPSEC (Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity) Alliance, today announced its ongoing commitment to developing OPSEC compliant products using Check Point's OPSEC SDK.

The first SecureIT product to support the OPSEC standard will be the company's firewall log file analysis and reporting software, SecureVIEW, which a number of FireWall-1 users have already purchased. SecureIT will use the LEA (Log Export API), which allows SecureVIEW to provide real-time, on-line analysis of FireWall-1 log activity.

We support Check Point's concept of a single platform that provides an open, extensible framework to integrate and manage the many aspects of enterprise security and are in the process of incorporating OPSEC APIs into an upcoming SecureVIEW release."
