FishNet Consulting Releases Integrated eSecurity Solution for e-Commerce and e-Business Needs

FishNet eSecurity solution combines industry leading security technologies into single, easy-to manage fully-integrated package

KANSAS CITY, MO, August 16, 1999 – FishNet Consulting, Inc., the Midwest's premier information security integrator, today announced its new line of eSecurity solutions for e-Commerce and e-Business.

Based on integrated hardware platforms from Unisys and Cubix Corporation, the FishNet eSecurity solution incorporates market-leading security products from Check Point Software Technologies, ISS, and Security Dynamics, with FishNet's own FireWatch technology. Integrating these products on a single hardware platform allows FishNet to deliver a comprehensive security solution that easily and efficiently fits into business plans for extending the enterprise onto the Internet.

FishNet's eSecurity solution utilizes several Open Platform for Secure Enterprise Connectivity (OPSEC) Certified solutions which provide policy-level interoperability with Check Point Software's FireWall-1 and VPN-1. Intrusion detection and server vulnerability scanning from ISS combined with strong authentication and Public Key Infrastructure for remote access and administration from Security Dynamics and FishNet's FireWatch technology to provide real time change control monitoring and archiving. The eSecurity solution comes custom-configured to fit each company's unique security needs and is backed by FishNet's industry-leading integration, support, and installation services.

"Customers have been asking for a ‘turn-key' solution to secure their networks in anticipation of doing e-business and e-commerce," said Gary Fish, President and CEO of FishNet. "So many installations require multiple servers and complex configurations to accomplish what FishNet's eSecurity does in one box. By integrating these products before delivery to the customer, install-time and hardware costs are cut significantly."

"FishNet's eSecurity solution is a great use of Check Point Software's open platform architecture supported by OPSEC," said Bradley Brown, director of business development for Check Point Software Technologies. "Combining the technology of Check Point Software's award-winning FireWall-1 with multiple OPSEC solutions on a single platform will help businesses adapt more quickly to the new world of e-business while protecting their vital internal resources."
