OPSEC certification assures compatibility between VERITAS FirstWatch for Solaris and Check Point FireWall-1 4.0, providing a highly available enterprise security solution that has no single point of failure. VERITAS has built a customized VERITAS FirstWatch agent to meet Check Point's OPSEC certification standards for high availability solutions that can be used with Check Point FireWall-1 4.0. This VERITAS FirstWatch/Check Point FireWall-1 combination provides customers with continuous, uninterrupted firewall protection during occurrences such as a system or application failure. Through the use of secure heartbeats working to prohibit intrusion, the combination will also protect customers' information resources from attempted wrongful access by unauthorized users.
