Securecom 8001 Integrates
Check Point's Meta IP for E-Business IP
Infrastructures
RICHARDSON, Texas--May 23, 2000 (Business
Wire)-- Intrusion.com, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary

of security solutions, today announced the immediate support
for Check Point Software Technologies' (Nasdaq:CHKP) Meta
IP software on the Securecom 8001 appliance, enabling secure,
reliable, Internet Protocol (IP) services for e-commerce.
The SecureCom 8001 is the first Internet appliance to integrate
Meta IP, Check Point's industry leading IP address management
software. The SecureCom 8001 integrated with Meta IP software
represents a further extension of Intrusion.com's cooperation
with Check Point to provide enterprise customers and service
providers secure and manageable IP services.

these appliances will dramatically reduce installation costs
and administrative overhead for corporations, especially those

The SecureCom 8001 adds secure IP addressing and naming (DNS
and DHCP) services to the family of Internet security appliances
and managed security platforms integrating best-of-breed software
applications for secure Internet access, routing, Virtual
Private Networking (VPN), and LAN/WAN connectivity. SecureCom
8001 is standards-based and designed to incorporate easily
within a customer's existing network environment on Linux,
Solaris and Windows NT operating systems.

hardware and software options are also available. All standard
and optional hardware and software packages, including the
hardened Red Hat Linux version 6.1 operating system, are available
pre-installed by Intrusion.com.
