SecureCom 8000 Combines Check Point's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) Architecture with Hardened Red Hat Linux to Provide an Optimized Security Solution for E-business

RICHARDSON, Texas, March 27- Intrusion.com, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ODS Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: ODSI - news) and a global provider of security management solutions, today announced the immediate availability of Linux support for its SecureCom(TM) 8000 family of Internet security appliances and chassis systems. Intrusion.com(TM) also announced increased cooperation and support with Check Point Software Technologies (Nasdaq: CHKP - news) through participation in Check Point's Open Platform for Security (OPSEC) Certified Appliance Partner program. The SecureCom 8000 is the first firewall appliance to integrate Check Point's industry leading SVN architecture along with a hardened version of Red Hat Linux 6.1 to provide enterprise customers and service providers a security solution to meet their varying e-commerce needs. The SecureCom 8000 family supports Check Point's market leading VPN-1/FireWall-1 security software in addition to OPSEC partner applications for URL filtering, virus scanning, high availability and other best-of-breed security applications.

All standard and optional h rdware and software including the hardened Red Hat Linux version 6.1 operating system is available pre-installed by Intrusion.com.
