RapidStream Integrates Check Point's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) Architecture To Deliver High-SpeedSecurity Solutions

Joins OPSEC Certified Appliance Partner Program Combining Check Point's Security Software With RapidStream's Scaleable Security Architecture (RSSA)

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 27- RapidStream, a network security appliance start-up, today announced it has joined Check Point's OPSEC Certified Appliance Partner Program in order to integrate Check Point's Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture with RapidStream's high-end multi-function security appliances. The resulting Linux-based appliance offering provides customers with high-performance security solutions, using RapidStream's Scaleable Security Architecture (RSSA).

With the growing demand for secure eBusiness solutions as evidenced by the government's recent announcement of a security task force for the Internet, businesses are searching for a ``security everywhere'' approach that is easy to deploy, offers high-performance, and is highly reliable. The Rapid Stream appliance with Check Point software provides such a solution.
