BioNetrix Authentication Suite Achieves OPSEC Certification from Check Point Software

Full Range of Advanced Authentication Methods Bolster Internet Security

VIENNA, Va. - October 22, 2001 - BioNetrix Systems CorporationT, a leading provider of authentication management solutions for enterprise and Internet security, today announced that its Authentication Suite has received OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) certification from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet. Users of Check Point's Next Generation VPN-1/FireWall-1 now have the ability to augment reliance on traditional password authentication and deploy advanced authentication methods that increase security. The BioNetrix Authentication Suite is a software platform that provides integrated support for more than 20 authentication methods, including smart cards, tokens and biometrics, to identify users accessing client-server, legacy and Web-based applications. Used in tandem with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 solutions, BioNetrix offers customers the means to conclusively verify users before granting them VPN access.
